Eligibility runs before scoring: verified credentials, active status, discipline fit, the project's state. What is left is scored on the signals you control — and the score is explained rather than hidden.
- Direct invitations — paid tiers can be invited straight into private projects.
- Subcontract your overflow — post your own project to bring in support from outside your discipline.
Verify once. The badge follows you.
Licences are checked against state boards and NCEES records, and the credential record — not a self-declared field — is what gates bidding.
- Multi-state records scale with your tier: 1 · 5 · 15 · 35 state credentials, with per-credential overages.
- Lapse protection. If a licence expires, is revoked or is suspended, affected bids withdraw automatically with the reason logged — protection for you as much as for the client.
- 30-day expiry warnings so nothing lapses mid-project.
A Structural Engineer licence is surfaced as its own credential — the SE title is never assumed from a PE record.

Escrow at award
The client funds the award into Escrow.com before work begins. You are not starting on a promise.
Weekly, if hourly
Hourly scopes run to an NTE cap you propose. Timesheets approve on a 14-day fallback and the True-Up milestone reconciles actuals at closeout.
Retention, returned
5% retention on licensed projects over $30k pays out automatically 90 days past completion unless a defect is formally reported.
No commission
FindPE does not take a percentage of your fees. The platform service fee is flat and charged to the client at award.
The call room
Scoping calls held against the project, not in a void.
Video and voice calls are part of the platform. The scope discussion, the questions asked and the decisions that followed sit next to the milestone plan they produced, so a year later you can still show what was agreed and when.
