What is FindPE?
FindPE is a marketplace that connects clients with licensed professionals — Professional Engineers (PE), Structural Engineers (SE), and Professional Surveyors (PS). Clients post projects (RFQs), professionals submit bids, and the client awards the job — with project funds protected in escrow.
How are PEs verified?
Every PE submits their license credentials, which we verify against state licensing boards. A verified badge means the credential passed our administrative check; it is not a warranty of competence or fitness.
How does payment work?
A platform service fee is charged at award. All project funds are held and disbursed through Escrow.com by milestone — FindPE never holds your project money directly.
What does FindPE cost?
Clients pay a platform service fee at award and may purchase optional RFQ enhancements. PEs can use a free tier or upgrade to a paid subscription for additional credentials and features.
What if there's a dispute?
We provide a mediation window for the parties to resolve issues. If unresolved, project-fund disputes follow Escrow.com's dispute and arbitration procedures.
Which engineering disciplines are supported?
FindPE supports a normalized taxonomy of engineering disciplines aligned to NCEES categories, matched by discipline, state, and availability.
